Here at WowThatsSexy.com, we realize buying clothing and apparel online is different than shopping in a store because you cannot try items on. To make your online shopping experience better at WowThatsSexy.com, we have a whole page dedicated to sizing information, sizing and measuring tips and sizing FAQ.

Each of our products has its own size chart based on the brand and manufacturer. Because of this, there is a size chart on each individual product page to ensure that you pick to best size for your body.

Self Measurement

Bras, and sometimes other lingerie items like corsets and bustiers, have a two-part size: the band size and the cup size. For example, if your bra size is a 36C, your band measurement is 36 and your cup size is C.
What you will need: a friend/partner or a mirror, a soft measuring tape (looks like a ribbon).

To Find your Band Size: If possible, have a friend or partner help you, otherwise stand in front of a mirror. Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your chest right under your breasts and take the measurement, in inches, after you exhale. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor and flat against your back so you record an accurate measurement. Round this number up or down to the nearest inch.

If your rounded number is even, add 4 to get your band size. If your number is odd, add 5 to get your band size.

For example: If your measurement is 32.3", round down to 32", and because it is an even number, add 4 to get a band size of 36.

To Find your Cup Size:
Difference Standard Cup Size
0"-1/2   (1.3cm) AA
1/2"-1"  (2.6cm) A
2"   (5.1cm) B
3"   (7.6cm) C
4"   (10.2cm) D
5"   (12.7cm) DD or E
6"   (15.2cm) DDD or F
7"   (17.8cm) G
8"   (20.3cm) H
9"   (22.9cm) I
10"   (25.4cm) J
With a friend or partner, or in front of the mirror as before, take the tape and measure around the fullest part of your breast (measuring over the nipple). Again, make sure the tape is parallel to the floor and flat across your back. Round this number up or down as you did to find your band size.

Take your cup size rounded measurement and subtract from it your rounded band measurement (found above, before adding 4 or 5). Look at the chart to the right to find the corresponding cup size to your difference.

For example: If your band measurement is 32" and your cup measurement is a rounded 35", the difference is 3", which corresponds to a C cup on the chart to the right.

Sizing FAQ

Q: My bra size is a 32C and your size chart for the leather corset #L3521 shows that a band measurement of 32-34 is a small, but a C-cup is a medium. Which size should I buy?
A: When buying a corset its a good idea to take into account the closure method. If the corset is hook and eye it is not as adjustable as a lace up. If you are a moderate to large C-cup, we recommend the larger size to accomodate your breasts. If you are a smaller C-cup, you should try the smaller size as this corset ties up and is slightly more adjustable. If this were a hook and eye corset we would recommend the larger size because, while leather can stretch slightly, it is not good for the material.
