Babydoll
A babydoll is a flirty, short nightgown or negligee usually intended as sleepwear. Many times a babydoll will come with matching panties. The front of the babydoll can be open, like this example, or closed. Babydolls usually come trimmed in lace or ribbons, adorned with bows and can be silk, mesh, cotton, nylon, or chiffon. They are usually made of a sheer or transluscent fabric.

Bodystocking
A bodystocking, or bodysuit, is a full-body garment made of nylon or a similar tight-fitting material similar to pantyhose that stretches from neck to ankle. A bodystocking is opaque, or see through. Crotchless bodystockings are also available.










Bustier
A bustier is a one piece garment, similar to a corset but usually sleeveless, that uses flexible boning to provide a sexy hourglass figure. Bustiers come with a variety of closure methods, from hook and eye, to lace-up. The length of a bustier varies from bust to waist or hips. Many styles also come with garters so the bustier can be attached to thigh high stockings. Bustiers are available in many beautiful, richly colored fabrics like satin tapestry, as shown. Bustiers are usually worn under clothes, but there are more and more styles that can be worn as outerwear.




Camisole
A camisole, or cami for short, is simply a spagetti strap tank top fashioned to be worn under a blouse or sweater. Originally designed with little support, to be worn as outerwear most women prefer to wear a bra underneath. Some fashions have a built in shelf-bra, but this provides little support for larger-breasted women. Camisoles can be very sexy with a matching panty and are also oftentimes worn as sleepwear.







Chemise
A chemise is a sleeveless, short, dress-like undergarment. A chemise is loose-fitting and is usually worn as a slip under a woman's dress or skirt. Chemises are many times made of smooth, silky material like charmeuse or silk.

Gown
A gown is a long, flowing dress sometimes with a bra top, like this example. Lingerie gowns often have slits up one or both sides.












Robe
A lingerie robe is usually short, about knee length and made of a sexy, silky material. Usually long sleeved, robes can be worn over other lingerie or with nothing underneath while a woman is getting dressed.











Teddy
A teddy is a camisole and panty combined into one garment. Teddies vary in style and can be full, like a leotard, or show more skin like this example. Teddies can have thong, g-string, or full panty backs.
